Change Archetypes during combat?

I've had multiple no-win-scenarios as my team composition was hard countered by an enemy i didnt fight before and was forced to flee or reload an older save.
Would be great if the "Restart Combat" feature would also allow Archetype switching.
Is there any way to switch Archetypes during combat later in the game?

no but you get more companions you can swap in, so you can have reserves suited for alternate enemies if you manage to get stuck
