The game is too hard
Belega corridor...early dungeon and enemy hit 50% of my hp, run out mp fast....did the dev test this game?

the early game dungeon was a bit weird.. past like the second dungeon i dont think you have this issue anymore. Gotta skip mobs and abuse weaknesses and use potions.. Maybe even play game on normal mode instead of Hard mode for the first dungeon or 2.. Cuz I'm in september now, and I'm playing game on hardmode and I think it's too easy now.

I hate to say it but....Skill issue bud.

Turn the difficulty down to Normal or Easy.

this game is hard, you have to use potion without reserve and you have to use the retry options if you made a mistake. and if you don't have the right team or skills, run away and retry another day.

Belega corridor you can beat it, I beat the boss at level 10-11. there are tricks to it.

but I am not going to make myself tear my hair out, so I play on normal mode and I clear the dungeon killing everything in it.

There's not really a reason to play the game on higher difficulty levels because enemies become sponges that drain your MP

in general you shouldn't be getting hit at all save for like, bosses/mini bosses, you should be engaging with the enemy stunned.

I bet you are using a caster archetype. If only there were multiple NPCs in multiple places that tell you about how that relates to Belega. Or a message that pops up in that regard when the mobs attack you.

Also you aren't intended to go to Belega first. Its balanced around being midway through the catacombs based on the levels the goblins scan at.

Final tip. Use brawler and use Skull Cracker. It deals with the goblins pretty well. Also the boss gets dunked on by the Knight with Brawler Synth attacks.

I am doing this dungeon tonight and thanks for the tips.

i could make pages of information on why this game is so freaking easy and on how lame it's in game mechanics are to try and force balancing with lack luster difficulty levels and checks and balances archtypes vs certain dungeons needing certain archtypes and to reasonably do on top of progressively harder grinding that forces your level to match dungeons etc later on unless you grind 10's of hrs because the lack of exp from your current area and any area below your level will eventually lead to you reaching the area that is around your level unless you grind out hrs of enemies in every area which is wasted time vs just moving on to the next area that forces you to grind again etc etc etc.

In essence the game is easy and the combat is brain dead simple and to me what is way more important is the story and everything else might as well not exist with how lack luster it is.

Like easy mode would fit me more because i wouldn't have to deal with swapping archtypes all the time just to crack an egg with brawler and kill undead with light magic and then get to a dungeon where magic is forbidden etc and could just Choose a CLASS that i liked and not have to rotate and fine tune every person in the party for the new area and not have to grind out a long time to beat a area faster to have more time to do other things that are actually better then the combat.

In the tavern you can buy information about dungeons, there is one that clearly tells you what not to do in this dungeon

So you are Crying that this Game isnt like some other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RPG´s, in which you simply outo Win because you Choose the "Magical Knight" Class, which can cast while doing Physical Damage, making him the Best to Beat every Boss??????

The System of Changeing Classes, Combining them and that Dungeons got a bit like a Theme for Classes, but the Bosses or some specific Mobs in it, are absolute Anti-Theme, is a good System. It´s Engageing, it shows you that you dont neet to Force your Class on Max Level, while also providing a System in which you can Combine and Focus on Single Classes and Win every Battle, just in Hard Mode.

I cleared the "no healer/no staff" dungeons using healer on hard, skill issue if you need to change it
