Level up system
Honestly i m still playing the demo and I am having a blast, just one question but is it just me or am i not able to manually choose what skills to level up for strohl? I am able to choose what i want to level up with the protagonist character but strohl is not giving me an option to level up any of the skill i want to level up, any help would be appreciated.

You mean stats, right? You can only distribute points for the main character.

However, you can assign any archetype to Strohl or any other party member and further customize them using the inheritance function.

But yes, Strohl will never become an outstanding magician...

no, you can’t choose what to level up for party members, only the MC.

I got a strohl with 40+ mag on lvl 28. To me it looks like Statgrowth on Level Up is Semi-Random, like it works in Games as Fire Emblem. Depending on the Charakter they got a higher/lower Chance in Terms of Which stats they Gain.

I noticed this, because i died 2-3 Times in a Dungeon and the Red Haired Girl had a Level Up after my Auto Save and every Time she got different stats.

From Items its around 7 or 8 Magic..... So more around 32 Raw but yes. It is Pretty High. Since its my First Play Through up until i saw this Thread i was kinda convinced that Strohl is basicly meant to be something like your "Magical Soldier"... Which are kinda typical for Japanese Fantasy. The Guy with a Sword and Bulkier (not the Bulkiest) Armor, who wields Base Elemental Magic and Kinda uses it to Buff his Attacks. Which ofc would be a later on "Advanced" Archetyp. But after i saw that the Red Haired One got Different Stats on the Same level, and what other People Wrote about Strohl, i start to Think it was just a Crazy Amount of RNG.

OR there actually is a way to influence the Stat Growth somewhat..... Like Using Magic Clases on a charakter or so.

When you master any class you get a small perma stat boost its normally +1 or 2. Just master them all though as you are rewarded.

that would make much more sense to me explaining that massive difference in stat growth than pure rng

was your Strohl mostly a mage or healer? :mtp_strohl:

I suspect the archetype they have on level up influences it.
You also have a few items which can increase specific attributes of whoever you use it on.

after what I have learnt here, I think that is likely

Sure he uses Healer and Cleric(not sure if its Cleric in English^^) and Mage and yeah all of them Are Max Level, however, i am not sure the Stat Boosts from these Clases are permanent outside of the Class. But even if it would boost your Raw Stats, that would make 3-6 Mage Power more, meaning i would be at 26 Still.

So yeah there must be something Influencing the Stat Growth or i was, like i said just extremly "Lucky" and got his weirdest Growth Patern.

Wow! His other stats must be atrocious! With only 2 points per level up and that many going into magic, there can't have been many going to other things.

thats 2+2+3=7 extra magic points from maxing out those archetypes, still way more than my 17 so I think which archetype you use (have for level up) somehow influences stat growth
Takichi Oct 15, 2024 @ 10:45am
Well he was mostly Healer and Mage, since well his Stats kinde suggested that. So yeah propably it was because of that. However the more i read about other People´s Strohl, i think its more a Combination of Both: Archetype influences Stat Growths but there are Still Base Growths for each Charakter, and therefore getting so much Magic, (i mean thats nearly each level Up 1 Point) still is also relativly lucky.
