Completing Royal Virtues Question

Are royal virtues infinite?


I'm in Grand Trad and completed listening to the tales of the Chatty Elder in Sunlumeo street. When I loaded up my game, I can see that the Royal Virtues icon is still active on him. And when I visited him again and told the man that I want to listen again to his tales, he gave me 2 more RV points.

How many times do I have to interact with the chatty elder in
order to get all the RV that he offers?

You can repeat those events infinitely to grind points. This particular one gives you a two part story, so you only need to talk to him twice if you want to hear everything he has to say. It's usually pretty clear from the dialogue if a character has told you everything they have to say and spending further time with them will simply repeat what they've already said.

Royal Virtues max out at lvl 5. You can still do the activities associated with them in order to make time pass.

they tell you in dialogue if they are done with their stories etc. but can be repeated infinitely.

I do suggest generally avoiding them unless you dont have anything else to do because often more than not side quests and hanging out with bonds will also raise stats in similar ways.

so those guys are more for the "I have nothing better to do" category of activity.
