Guptauros (A bullish Embargo) quest *Help*

Hello guys,
I recently started the tournament story quest where you have to kill a monster and bring the head back to Grand Trad.
I forgot I had the secondary quest where you have to kill Guptauros in the Belega Corridor.
It doesn't seem I can go back anyhow or any soon cause the tourney quest looks very long.
Can I still go to Belega Corridor sooner or later or the quest is gone for good?

I have done the quest 3 times. I have 3 horns from the boss. We've I get back to town and I talk to brigitta it won't turn the quest in. She just says the same thing and asks me if I want a ride. Has anyone ride experienced this bug?
