Anyone else unable to enter Nord Mines?

I have reached the safe area outside the mines. I can not go backwards out of this area but if I try to go towards the other characters/shopkeeper/entrance I am told that I am going the wrong way and need to go towards the entrance which makes my character walk back a few steps. I can not progress due to this.

is this before you went into the mines or after you completed the area. perhaps you may need to open your map or go into the entrance of the mines because once you miss out on stuff in that area you cant go back to get those items its all forward from there

I haven't been able to enter the mines. It resets my character when I walk forward. Opened map, tried to leave area etc. No joy.

So you can’t re-enter the mine after you complete it? I’m regretting not fighting the one thing in there.
