Animated Cutscenes keeps freezing

The few cutscenes you get from being chased by monsters to entering Grand Trad the first time keep freezing. it will start to play normally then it will just skip to the start of the scene panning down upon enter the city the first time, but will freeze midshot. No sound, doesn't continue or anything. I can skip the cutscene and just continue the game, but that's not fixing the issue.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled and that for some reason fixed the issues I was having
