Sale?
Hey guys I know the game just came out so there won't be a sale anytime soon, but does anyone have an estimate of when we may see one?

I've never played the Persona series because I wasn't a huge fan of the "you're a highschooler" trope but I always loved the style of the games, this one has me interested because of the fantasy aspect and how cool some of the designs are for the "humans" so I'm interested in picking it up, but $69.99 is a lot to me currently.

Gamesbillet and Fanatical both have them for 13% off but as far as anything deeper check back closer to Christmas. I use https://isthereanydeal.com/ as a pricing aggregate for all the major sellers including steam.

Thank you for the link that's really helpful.

Looking at other ATLUS releases on Steam around 3-4 months but you might get lucky at the christmas/winter sale.
That being said: Don't get your hopes up for a discount of more than 10%-20% before year one is up. As it turns out this game is already selling very well for ATLUS standards.

I'll live waiting. Glad for the company's success.

Thank you for the info. :)

$70 is still a price I haven't gotten used to. I know GMG had it on sale for 40 dollars for awhile. It won't take long to find a nice discount, so I would be patient if you're able to. Just look around.

70 thankfully doesn't seem to stick for many games anyways.
So many games come out at 70 now and get discounted to the "original" 60 very very fast (faster than any other price drop games usually get). Let's be real: The price bump by 10 bucks was totally bs to begin with.

Metaphor is a good game (5 hours in) but it seriously isn't worth 70 bucks. 50 is a very good price (which is what I bought it for)/60 highly debatable. For 70 I would have expected way better graphics/way less technical hiccups and no day one DLCs.

I got mine for like $50 from Japan (yay for exchange rates). It was the right price for me. You're right it's kind of expensive and will come down quickly. If I'm forced to pay 70, there are few games that I would actually buy day 1. The last game I bought at full price was FF7 Rebirth, and before that, I can't even tell you. Anyways, agreed.

The only game I can think of that I bought for 70 was Zelda TotK which I really liked (I go nuts for "play the way you want/build your own stuff" mechanics) and that game was worth it I'd say but that pricing was way off as well.

Since I've payed 60 bucks for Baldur's Gate 3 tho I'd argue that no game out there right now warrents a price tag of 70 bucks.

I'd be fine with a price hike on videogames if they actually put in more effort but AAA gaming has gotten worse and worse over the years, now they're asking for more money and doing schemes like deluxe edition early access. It's ridiculous unchecked greed.

most likely next year, but hopefully it will get a discount during winter sale
