And yeah, it seems Mage is ideal for the first dungeon.
And if agility affects turn order does that also mean that agility affects turn frequency? Exp:
Character A: Agility 20
Character B: Agility 10
Character A not only first but moves 2 times more than character B? (This is a false hypothetical to illustrate the core principle)
It's stat-dependant (meaning your order doesn't make a difference).
Coming from SMT5 I can tell you that ATLUS's balancing isn't always to obvious at first glance (SMT5 magic ruled the early game while physical rules the late-game). Just because the game hands you the new mage class and then expects you to try elemental weaknesses doesn't mean it will stay this way. I'd rather bet that classes with the most buffs/debuffs will rule this game.

It wouldn't surprise me if other classes like Gunner have diverse damage types (although maybe it is all just pierce? lol). However this really does change how I will have to think about party composition / builds. In particular I suspect physical character might actually WANT to keep the agility average/low so they can act on press turns.
