How can you even mistake More for a girl? Long hair?
This game is made by japanese.
How word is diluted and changed in meaning over the years.
In his intro cutscene he's got the long hair, the lashes, and the lips that specifically are drawn in anime solely on female characters with extremely rare exceptions (he might have had nails as well while petting the cat, I don't remember). If you showed the cutscene to anyone, muted, 99% of people would immediately think "that's a chick."
It's worth noting that his speech portrait looks considerably less feminine than the anime cutscene; the portrait looks more akin to rocky horror picture show style gothic guy.
I think people nowadays have been increasingly become extreme in their thoughts.
Ironically you're being exactly the same way you're assuming I am: jumping to conclusions about something because of sociopolitical dispositions.
Look at this: https:// /ibb. co/LdJ5wvB (remove spaces)
Long hair, lashes, eyeliner, lips. There is nothing "extreme" about assuming that that's a female character. What's "extreme" is calling people "extreme" for believing that a character with drawn feminine traits is a woman. Don't do this, we both know what it is and you're arguing to argue, pretending that rain isn't wet. You're being "just as bad" as the "extreme" people.
And as I said, this kind of thing isn't an issue, it's just strange it's more common than usual in this game.
I also really don't get it.
The exclusion of a female choice is just lazy here because the protag. being male changes nothing about the overarcing story. It just isn't there because they didn't want to invest extra time which is no excuse when you're asking for 70 bucks.
it's fine to want one thing, but judging them for catering to the larger male player base is a weird thing these days.
well rest easy, indications seem to be persona 6 might have that choice. makes sense, since it's a bigger budget game for them. probably has a lot more put into it than Metaphor.
