Yes, this progress doesn't carry over to NG+ so it has to be done during a single playthrough.

I just finished the last follower quest I could do and had 15 days remaining to fight the last boss. For some followers you have to have certain "crown stat points" to continue, like Strohl I think needs 4 or 5 courage to complete, Hulkenburg needs 4 or 5 Wisdom and also some can only be done during the day or night. Whenever you have the stats required to talk to do a follower quest and during the day or night, you will get that glow and a message that says that they want to talk to you. Some can be done while out on the gauntlet runner, and some can only be done in the towns.

Maybe? I haven't looked up anything for this game. Got a lot of the "do all of this" achievements too. It all was pretty straightforward to me, with only like 2-3 of the gold beetles being missable. Fortunately I like to nook and cranny every area, so I didn't miss any of those.

You really don't need a guide to max out the followers tbh. As long as you prioritize followers, then sidequests, then royal virtues you should be fine with the time given. The only one that could be iffy is the last party member cause you need to be traveling to start his bond and it does not tell you

Yeah this got me on my first playthrough too but you have so much time to complete everything including the dragon trials that it was a non issue.

Yes, and don't worry. The affinity system in Metaphor is far more relaxed than Persona 5. No need for a meticulously planned walkthrough nor carefully picking dialogue answers with your teammates (it only affects magla gain after a talk).

For higher friendship levels you need improved personality stats, but even that is achieved without stress (unless you completely ignore it), as many other activities like some bounty hunting missions improve your personality stats too.

Finished the game today and had no problems getting all relationships to the max rank (no walkthrough).

Cant give you an exact guide but there is alot of time, just priotize your Personality Attributes and bonds. But what i can tell you is that this is different to Persona games in the matter that the answers you give them are not important to level up bond, they only give you Mag so say to them whatever you feel like.

Where answer ARE important sometimes in this game however are the training scenes for your Personality attributes, giving the right answer can make a difference between getting +4 or +3 points at the end of the scene. so save your game before training if you wanna save some time.

The responses only change the amount of XP you get at the end of the sequence. No points to gather for the next rank up to unlock. A lot nicer than the dreadful Persona system. A Guide is not needed. You can always ask the fairy for the available rank ups. Or potential rank ups. that you cannot improve for whatever reason.
There is enough time. Just play the game.

You mean MAG, the responses dictate bonus MAG, not xp.
