Gold beetle location date dependance?

I keep turning up more gold beetles in places I though I had thoroughly explored. It's making me wonder if new gold beetles show up in places as the game's date advances. Or am I just that unobservant in the first place?

Some are available after a certain day, one or two others are dependent on the day you visit an area. Other than that, enough of them appear on progression simply because you traverse all the areas eventually.

Im really sure the only gold beetle location that have rng element to it is in the gold beetle in guest room in Martira Tavern. The other gold beetle simply isnt available before you meet Gold Beetle merchant in Arenafront Wharf, Port Brileheaven,

they all spawn after you talk to the merchant im pretty sure, the ONLY one that is missable is the one located in a camp you only see once at the start of the game.

every other one can be collected at anytime (except limited time dungeon ones but obviously you wanna fully loot those before leaving)

The one in Eldan Sanctuary is also missable.

I can now confirm, some Gold Beetle ARE date dependent and don't show up before a specific date.
