How do I equip equipment (weapon, armor,...)?

I don't know if I'm blind or what, but I can't see any option to change equipment of my character.

Go to the Item tab, but all the things I can do is check the stats of my weapon, and armor. Can't change it.

Does this stupid game lock this feature till a certain date or something? I mean changing equipment is the most basic of things in every game. Why don't you unlock it early?

This game has a lot of game features that will be unlocked one by one as the game "teaches" you to play it. Changing equipment isn't something complex, true, but this is pretty standard for ATLUS game.

You will get the Equipment option in the menu, separate from Items, once the equipment change will actually start to matter.
