PS3 Graphics ?
Art direction is living up to persona standards, gameplay and story is basically how you imagine a medieval jrpg would be, soundtrack is ok, and the cutscenes are decent

But holy hell if this isn't some "damn it looks better when I played this 10 years ago" ahh graphics 💀

That and the engine feels very outdated, exactly how playing a PS3 game would feel

Yeah. Some parts look gorgeous thanks to the art direction and style, but it is REALLY rough in some spots. Overall I think Persona 5 (especially Royal) hold up better thanks to the more flashy style.

It is a great game though, and that outweighs the technical flaws by far.

I agree, I personally think this is because in P5 you are in a more confined space and dungeons so they can focus the visual aspect on a smaller-but-detailed manner

Looks fine to me. Tourists need to understand Atlus games never had cutting edge graphics. Persona 3 was released in 2006 on the PS2 and it didn't look impressive, same year the PS3 came out. Persona 5 was released a decade after the PS3's launch. :mtp_grius:

Yeah, the gameplay, story and music always comes first when it comes to Atlus. But some parts of this game stands out a little more than usual.

P3R, P5 and SMT5 look so much better than Metaphor

This is the first $70 game I've played that looks and feels like a 10+ year old game

(Side note, I'd bet money OP pirated the game)

P3 is ok for it's age

I'm not asking for cyberpunk RTX kinda shiz, but you gotta admit that having PS3 graphics on a new 2024 game coming from a massive name like Atlus is kinda...

Like imagine GTA VI coming out with Skyrim graphics

Yeah the "feel" part is on point, not only it looks like an old game, it also feels like playing one

Tho that doesn't mean the game is bad
