BUG in the quest A Dagger, A Ring, and A Rake
Hi, I got the ring in the Abandoned Tomb mini-dungeon the last day available before leaving Martira for Brilehaven. Finally, after I re-gained control of the party, I returned to Martira square but Cuculus was no more there. Is it really a bug or am I missing something? Any idea?

After completing his quest, he says he'll leave for Brilehaven.
I hope he does this even when completing his quest late.
Google says he should be at Angler’s Inn Square in Port Brilehaven at night.

Ok thank you, I hope it'll be so, I'll check it then. I was thinking it was a bug because in the map of the sidequest page there's no ??? mark like for any other quest where we don't know the place to go for completing them.

i had the same exact problem after doing the same thing as you and couldnt find anything, i ended up just doing some other stuff and progressing the main story a little further and he eventually just re appeared where he was before. idk if its a bug or maybe has something to do with the time but weird nonetheless

If it's a bug, it's an important one. We lose a bond as I can see on internet. Di you try to do as Thyrandor suggest? Maybe the character just changed position.

yeah he did move to brilehaven for me but not immediately i was still able to go back to matira and find him on the log where he was previously and turn the quest in after a few days of having to hold it

The problem you get with the chapter transitions is that they tend to lock you out of stuff without explicitly telling you that's what's happened. As a general rule, if you're not at the point you've had the "we should use the time to prepare to ..." conversation you're likely blocked off from the usual quests/social bonds etc by plot. With Brielhaven for example while you'll get control of the party back fairly quickly on arrival you're actually locked out of regular activities until you've finished scoping out Louis' Runner and hatched the plot to infiltrate it before the soiree.
did you resolve this problem eventually? i cannot find him either. he’s not at the inn for me.

I couldn't find him either - then he reappeared in Martira after my wisdom reached level 3. So maybe that's what's doing the trick?
