You can just take a team with your favorite Archetypes and grind normally, and use the item to max out the other ones as you please... just be mindful the max item stack is 99 so be sure to use them when it gets close to that.
When mobs don't give much arc xp it's time to move on and find some harder foes.
There were a few really good ones I enjoyed in my playthrough, made some clips of them on me PS5 but haven't uploaded them anywhere yet.
-Examples-
So the only one I can remember the exact specifics of off the top of me head is in the last 30 day deadline there's a disgraced ruins dungeon that, at the very end of, has two high level treasure demons that spawn literally in the room next door to a cat point, and these demons drop 0-2 Jewelled Roots each, which is the consumable item that gives the highest amount of A-exp (3000).
You can farm them at an average rate of like 10 Jewelleds every 2 minutes which is pretty addictive lol, but they don't give much Magla so you can quickly run out of that if you're trying to use them to max everyone's archetypes.
I don't remember the location names or specifics of the earlier ones I enjoyed but I remember one place (where you can get informant info on a ghost enemy) has two big ghost enemies near eachother which give out 300 A-exp each so I farmed those 2 for 600 per farm route run for a little while at one point earlier in my playthrough too.
Did the same with a bird spawning crystal later on in one of the towers.
Finding farm routes was quite fun in this game I must say!
I actually started skipping the fake chests I didn't realize they gave that! If they pop up again i'll definitely start beating the ones I have MP for. Thanks for the suggestions!
Idr if that's from the coliseum or something but I've seen it mentioned in the game somehow.
yeah I was aware of that I just didn't think it was that beneficial anyway because I'm still grinding out archetypes for all characters. Their second levels and a secondary archetype tree such as Strohl with Warrior lineage and Commander lineage. I'm getting through the game just fine atm so I guess it's just a matter of continuing to play the game
I believe there is an item from the coliseum that does that but there's also an item you can buy from the accessory merchant on one of the days of the week (arborsday...I think?) He sells the Archetypal Ring which grants the wearer 50% more AEXP for 40K gold.
There's a random chance of the duo appearing as far as I know. In several clears I haven't seen them at all, and in one clear I saw two duos at the same time.
you can optimize the disgraced ruin spot even more if you’re low level enough to not instakill the chests. swap mc to thief, swap your party to merchants for the item gain chance, then just attack the chests to break them. when they’re broken, they have a chance to give you a jewelled root. enter combat, flee, break them again.
you can get 99 jewelled roots in 10 minutes if the rng isn't too much of a ♥♥♥♥ to you.
you’ll quickly find yourself lacking in mag, though, at which point the final dungeon everybody talks about really is the only good grind spot.
I believe it's tied to killing the small ones, i've had them like 10 times in a row when i did it, always killing the small ones with mage aoe auto attack, then reset and kill again till they appear
