Game crashing on 07/04

I've been playing the game, but I got to a cutscene right before a boss fight on 07/04 at night, and as soon as the boss appears (during the cutscene, covered in shadows) the game hard crashes. I have an i7-4790, a GTX 1050 Ti, and 12GB RAM. I tried lowering the game's graphics, restarting my PC and updating my graphic card's drivers, but it's still crashing. Has this happened to anyone else? Are there any solutions I can try?

I am in my second playthrough in 08/09 never heard of that issue D:

EDIT: It didn't work, unfortunately, it's still crashing.

So, I loaded an earlier save, one right before getting into the dungeon, and this time at the beginning of the dungeon... A whole cutscene played that for whatever reason hadn't triggered before? That led to a mandatory fight and added a whole new party member? And then booted me out of the dungeon because I wasn't even supposed to be able to explore it that day?

Yeah, no wonder it broke, and that's probably the reason. No idea why the cutscene didn't trigger in the first place though, but that's probably it.
