Spoilers and clarification
After a week of playing the game, I finally finished it, and damn... it feels like I’ve lost all my drive, and I can't move on.

Spoilers ahead—don't read further if you don't want them.

I just want to clarify because my brain wasn’t functioning properly while playing... so feel free to correct me.

So, in my understanding, this game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity was destroyed after discovering "magla," an energy (or magic) that comes from people's hearts. A war broke out over who was right and who was wrong, and boom... the current era emerged.

Elda were like humanity's direct descendants, and the name "Elda" came from the word "old humans." Another tribes (humans that evolved) that arose during the process of evolution, gaining horns and pointed ears, called them Elda because some of Elda's ancestors gave their tribe this name to distinguish them from the monsters known as "humans" and the original humans.

It feels kind of dumb that the other tribes evolved with seemingly useless traits like pointed ears, etc. What's the use of those for survival?

Humans (the monsters) became entities whose magla went berserk—the uncontrolled emotions from their hearts gave them power in exchange for transforming them into abominations... and driving them insane.

Magic igniters were developed as a limiter and a solution for that.

As I understand it, Sanctism was formed for the same reason—they wanted to spread the use of igniters. I’m not sure if this is right, but their motivation seemed to be that excessive use of magla was a repeat of humanity’s past mistakes, which led to the world's destruction... or something like that.

But as time went on and Sanctism spread, it became corrupt. Greed for money and power took hold, and they forgot the real purpose of igniters as limiters, turning them into weapons of war instead.

I’m a bit confused about this, but the discrimination against Elda seemed to stem from either them being blamed for the world's destruction or because King Hippopotamus V (I don’t remember the former king’s name, so...) had a child with an Elda woman. The pope didn’t want an Elda to become the successor, so he plotted an assassination of the prince, framed Louis, and branded the Elda as a "lesser tribe."

"H" V (the king) was a wanderer who found Elda. He and the queen of Elda fell in love, and the prince was born. The king, being an idealist, wanted a world where different tribes accepted and respected each other without discrimination. Louis was full of hope when he met the king... but the church wasn’t happy with this, so they massacred the prince and the Elda.

The king got depressed because the queen died and after the assassination of the prince, he thought he also died too because of its secrecy not to jeopardize prince escape, even the king didn't know. The king cast magic of guidance for the people activating upon his death. He lacks the power to change the world so he let corruption of the kingdom continued. He wants some revolutionary change that will emerge because of his incompetence. That's why he planted the seed for a change. He knew people will kill him.

When the prince was cursed and fled to the destroyed village of Elda, the curse had already spread, and he was dying. But before he died, the prince read a book written by More (the king’s ideal self)... using the same magic that created More. Our MC was also created—an idealized version of the prince.

The memory of the MC being the prince's friend was planted by his "mother." The mission was only given to Gallica, but the "mother" also implanted false memories in Gallica and instructed her to guide the newborn self of the prince.

Louis rose to power as a Count, not for revenge, but to cleanse the kingdom. He sought its destruction. He wanted to turn people into "Humans." Since the people of the current era were like an extension of humanity and shared the same DNA, Louis knew that by berserking people’s magla, it would corrupt all the tribes. The only ones who could survive that, due to their strong hearts and will, would thrive in the new world (like the MC and his friends). Hence, Louis’s speech about power.

As for my rant... damn it. I was playing on normal mode. I was level 79 and felt confident facing Louis because I was beating everything. The four dragons didn’t even stand a chance. But after Louis used the Royal Scepter, we ended up fighting again. I didn’t expect him to be that strong. After defeating him, he became a "Human" and was level 80... so it was a challenge. But after defeating him again, he changed his form and became a level 90 human. Damn, I switched to storyteller mode. sigh

After all that, I managed to defeat him and became king. After a year, the kingdom became a better place. Everyone changed except for the MC.

There are still many humans outside, and they want to travel together again and defeat more of them.

I wonder if this game has more content to come since they only gave us one country, the Kingdom of Euchronia. I wonder if the MC will travel to another one and face more monsters.

I feel like the content was lacking. Most of the MC’s adventure was about internal politics. There’s some history in it, but the lack of world-building leaves me wanting more.

In the end, during his fight against Louis, the MC reached the peak of his archetype, which was the "King" archetype. But there’s no such thing in the archetype panel—it only appeared in the cutscene. I want to play with that archetype, but damn... the game is too short.

Do you guys think there's more content to come? It really feels like a one shot manga that won't be continued. *sigh

Thank you for reading.
