Keep in mind that you should go to Windows settings > graphics > find for the game's exe and set high priority so that the game will use your gpu, full game runs just like demo, they recently added AA setting under graphic options
^ this. but maybe also consider an upgrade for your ram from 8gb to 16gb, in general it will help with all your games, not just Metaphor.
I got a 3060ti and the game runs at 165FPS capped and almost never dips, and if it does it's a micro dip.
game runs at a smooth 60fps with reshade and antialiasing. but only on NORMAL texture quality.
for some reason HIGH quality makes the game hitch a lot in loadscreens/transitions
the quality difference isnt worth so I play on normal, reshade helps even it out.
Good news!
I didn't see your post before writing this:
The demo plays well on my laptop with GTX 1050 2GB VRAM. It runs well with normal graphics textures. However, my system has 16GB RAM.
The GeForce MX150 seems about half as powerful as the 1050.
Best to try the demo and see for yourself!
how many fps are you getting on the demo with your specs? seems like the only thing differentiating the performance is our RAM and GPU which as you said, not far apart by a long shot.
