So Many Issues

I'm about 12 hours into the game and I love it, but I've never had so many issues with a game before. Played the full demo and then decided to purchase. Carried the save file over. I have yet to get a single achievement at all. Some are saying to play through the Cathedral section and that popped achievements for them. That did not work for me. I've tried verifying game files. A full reinstall. Starting completely over. Nothing has worked.

And now today's 1gb patch requires you to fully reinstall the game again? Except it's not working and won't complete. I've now downloaded 90gbs 3 separate times. It's a good thing I have unreasonable internet speed otherwise this would take forever.

Honestly, this ♥♥♥♥ is unacceptable. I love what I've played of the game, so far, and I loved P5 but I am really disappointed in my experience with Metaphor thus far. Get your ♥♥♥♥ together. You can't charge people $70 and then deliver a broken, mess of a product.

Steam needs to be handing out refunds for situations like this. When you spend well over 2 hours just trying to troubleshoot and resolve issues that shouldn't be there to begin with, it is maddening. Absolutely unacceptable. Fix your ♥♥♥♥.

so you have 2 problems? that are so many issues? the game detected my saves automatic, the achivments come after a time, i reinstall the game...

you said "so many problems" 2 things are not problems, and they dont even have anything to do with the gameplay or handling of the game. you gave no reason to cry that hard, so i put you to your place. if you want to cry and insult people, go on reddit.

It doesn't reinstall the game, it patches it. I know it looks the same but it actually isn't.

I'm allowed to voice my grievances with a product that is under performing expectations. I obviously overestimated you when I assumed that you understood basic logic and human decency. You just want to argue and I understand that because you are obviously not very bright.

They have everything to do with the game play, especially when one causes you to not even be able to boot up the game, you absolute mouth-breather.

That's good to know, at least. The game patching that way is definitely not ideal, but it is what it is, I guess. Thanks for the information.

it only downloads 1.4G and patches the entire game, people need to be educated on how patch work, otherwise they are similar to those old dude/women who send their entire PC over when a simple memory check would suffice or a thermal paste change.

This is not a normal, or even best, way to install update patches.
