Is the update not installing for anyone else?

I deleted the game from my local files, cant uninstall because its "Busy". This is actually the worst ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing i have ever encountered in a steam install/download scenario, EVER. I have NEVER had a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 1.4gb patch update brick my entire steam. This is insane.

experiencing the exact same thing lol, downloads seem completely bricked, can't uninstall or clear download cache or change download region or any of the suggestions i'm finding online. no idea whats going on

I have never had this happen before, and im super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pissed. If this isnt fixed by tomorrow, im flipping my ♥♥♥♥.

This update has essentially bricked my steam deck. can't install, can't uninstall, can't do anything at all

Mines been sitting for over an hour, nothing.

This is very annoying i was looking forward to play it this weekend. I was stuck at "Intalling" for 2 hrs and became desperate.

Stopped steam through task manager
Delete the METAPHOR folder
I had to reDL the whole game

Now its finally progressing.

Okay, to ALL who are having this issue, i found something that worked. It requires uninstalling the game though. Switch to steam offline mode, top left, then close your steam. Go into your task manager and close ALL tasks that says steam, then reopen. Metaphor shouldn't be installing/stopping download, and then you can uninstall the game.

I just uninstalled and then re-DL'd the game and it worked for me.

I went offline uninstalled it and then installed it again, works fine now
