Is this reddit? Since when was discussion frowned upon lmao. Op ngl that sounds ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥. Glad i stopped, hate twists like that.
temple scene where the dragon tailsweeps once then just waits there for eupha and hulk chitchats til eupha turns into a power ranger
Fidelio dying * louis just standing there waiting while we gather around fidelio, like thats it one shot only? spam your beam dammit XD
prince curse is removed , yet i cannot go to the prince right away . why not? dont i have the power of teleport. conveniently discovered and dies so i can merge. great
saintess ultra speaker , hey atleast denounce louis while your at it or help me kill louis before you go ♥♥♥
louise now has the real spear of killing * proceeds to remove his advantage to be able to kill others without dueling . err could have killed the mc first? but nah fck it
Zorba, Louis's right hand man, is a necromancer, and to add on top of that, one of the most powerful necromancers in existence capable of using melancholia to power his spells. We had also literally seen, by this point, Zorba stitch himself back together after receiving fatal wounds and come back to screw with us.
Louis having his necromancer buddy nearby in the event things went south, especially when those powers in being able to heal near fatal wounds was already explored prior, *isn't* a Deus Ex Machina.
The actual issue is some of you guys having zero media literacy and being completely unable to remember basic elements of characters.
Or, alternatively, it's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible writing and none of it remotely makes sense if you think about it even a little bit.
Generally story writer is very bad. You finally see that protag does something bad makes some people to pity poor bastard with lance in the chest, but then turn them into caricature villain. Once again person who became general and was strong and smart doing something like killing innocent just because of what? He thought that he'll get location of prince? While they've already ready to fight to death with him? What a joke.
You are wrong. Not sure if there is difference between English and Japanese version but text is
"I knew at first glance that the wound was deep, but the heart was intact"
No you didn't. You saw him falling that he himself did. You never killed him. You just assumed the fall killed him.
The in-game section on the Race tells you the answer. The 'wings' are just decorative feathers only. The entire Ishkia race has vestigial feather clumps that grow out where long ago they presumably once had wings, but now they are just like people who grow their hair long for fashions sake. they aren't actually wings, just long and well cared for feather streams.
It's actually a big insult to derisively mention that Ishkia can't actually fly.
Any member of the Ishkia can basically remove them and regrow them, and it's easier to hide doing this when young. I think they don't as a racial tribal identity thing, they are proud of them and consider them beautiful. (It's most likely culturally frowned upon to remove them similarly to dwarves and beards.)
Also, Maria only has two of them because she's a halfblood. Half Ishkia (on her mothers side) and half Rhoag from Grius.
Layers of plot armour for Louis, which ends in an anti-climatic defeat of Forden and a fairly dull anime drama for Rella and Junah (but it's okay, they love each other really). It was fairly cringe.
I had initially thought they'd gone against the trope and expectations of JRPG story-telling by killing Louis there and then, and was half expecting the game to pivot to a huge battle between the MC's party vs the church under Forden (basically Forden letting his mask slip in public), which would have been pretty interesting, but instead it squandered the opportunity.
It isn't game-ending for me, but it was a bit of a rubbish sequence of events IMO.
