Amazing Gold Farm - Possible Spoilers
The best gold farm that I have found so far is at the Forsaken Tower (after you turn in the head of your bounty at the ocean town). If you go up 3 flights of stairs you come to a circular room that has two magala spawners that spawn goblins. I equipped the Merchant Archetype to the protagonist, and it gets me about 240k gold in 10 minutes. That is not including the sellable items that drop like old coins, armor, weapons, scrolls, etc. Just keep killing the golbins that infinitely spawn without killing the magala crystals. You have to be level 35-36 to be able to kill the big goblins without going into battle. I assume there are some better farm spots later on, but so far this is the best one I have found. After an hour of farming I have over 2 million gold without selling my stuff. Not to mention all the Hero's Leaf of Light (1000 exp to archetypes) that I have accumulated. I have gotten about 90 from being lvl 20 merchant and having Hulkenberg also at a lvl 20 archetype. Previously, the goblin area to the NE of Martira was the best gold farm, netting about 500k for an hour of farming.

Bottom of the 4th town story dungeon also got an area with 3 spawners near each other.

You aren't really going to need that money for anything, but yeah, those two places are the best grinding spots you'll be seeing for quite awhile.

Farming is particularly useless in this game until the last dungeon and at that point youre only doing it to make the last boss a joke

where do you people farm in this game?
battles give no xp for characters or archetypes and ive already killed all the crystals that enable farming in the dungeons i have available to me
i have no mp, my characters all suck and im 8 levels under every enemy that i end up fighting.
i just finished virga and ive been STRUGGLING
what am i missing? ive never been this frustrated over smt/persona games. even considered playing the rest of the game on easy because i have no clue how im supposed to stay on top of the game

you are clearly doing something wrong like just running past enemies instead of fighting them or party members are dieing during fights therefore they dont get any exp to be THAT underleveled. the game practically prepares you well enough for each boss fight if you actually fight enemies in the dungeon and dont just try to frantically run through to conserve SP or whatever.

How in the world did you manage this? Have you been skipping every fight up until this point? Honestly, beyond making a huge batch of Finisher Noodles I don't know what else you can really do at this point that won't be painful. Breaking all those crystals makes this brutal for you, and there's no good grinding spots past Virga for a million years. You legitimately might want to switch to easy with how deep you dug yourself.
