Most game stories have linear narratives, nor did this game ever advertise itself "your choices matter" I don't get why you need this game to have dialogue options that change the stories narrative towards something else.
This complaint is like looking at a platformer game and complaining that it needs guns you can shoot with.
Now unsubscribe from the thread 👌
They probably expected the old SMT style before V and your choices matter there or some like CRPG. But unfortunately when it comes to the newer Persona games choices matter hardly. Aside from a select few, Metaphor does have alternate endings though, if you make bad choices at pivotal points. But it seems more like a point to be made during said points.
I mean I still dont get the special need to have every game have non linear narratives, otherwise how could you ever enjoy stories from media that aren't video games. Even if games have the benefit of player interaction to enable that ability, that doesn't mean every game needs to have nonlinear narratives. And again Persona nor did this game ever advertise itself on "your choices matter".
Its just the format I am pretty sure they make plenty of other games that do, so their expectations were disappointed. Im just guessing.
Yeah but you are not saying anything at all though. Its fine to discuss the game, but Valve will lock the thread if its a not productive and then you prevent others from having any genuine or healthy discussion.
Like go talk about KOTOR and Fallen Order in their discussion forums you’d probably have more fun there.
You literally replied and I was just replying back, and then i gave a few suggestions. If anything youre equally as much instigating it. Even right now with that reply. You instigated then discussed tropes and played “oh man i was trying to move on”. Lay off the fent bro, its bad for you. Tbh you can probably lay off the Star Wars EA games too tbh
Not even Galaxies or republic commando smh my head
Well yeah now I am just messing around now. Anyways play Republic Commando. Pretty good Star Wars game and the story is pretty good as well. Though its a kinda wonk FPS and dated. Its kinda funny when old star wars games are sorta like shovelware back then but semi-fun. Like Podracer which is basically SW F-Zero and still fun. Though idk how playable the official PC version is. You might need to just find other means to play it
