If you like the game demo, or feels ok with it. I think you will love the full game. I enjoy so much now. Remember to choose hard on the first playthrough, anything below hard is just too easy. The hard mode is just adding one more turn to the enemies instead of raising their stats. I hate those games' hard mode are raising stats, metaphor isn't like that.
In turn, Louis uses violence to get to the utopia, and the church is corrupt.
I think you people are not intelligent enough if you miss something that basic.
Metaphor is a fantasy story but the stakes are real, racism is happening, people are being massacred and there's a debate on the political system/how to treat people.
I feel like it’s very forward in describing everything and is even more straight forward and hand holdy in its narrative then ever. It tells you the exact emotion the theme is based on constantly (basically powering through anxiety) and hides nothing it seems.
Persona 3 was super intriguing and fascinating with a big mystery as to what the hell was happening and was very mature in tone but just written way better imo.
Metaphors art is amazing as is it’s gameplay but the game so far just feels like a bunch of tropes pasted onto eachother that I’ve seen a thousand times already.
Metaphor is EDGY and mature at the same time, which is more in line with MegaTen, it's not a just in your head/small town issue.
Even for anime it feels very eh. I'd not bother if you didn't like the demo. Go play trails in the sky for a real jrpg experience tbh (and then cry when you get to modern trails because it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ now)
I try to get into the Kiseki series many times but the setting never hook me, it's simply not edgy enough.
And if the devs could stop doing the tita + agate romance and keep it siblings that'd be lovely. But like I said, modern trails is ♥♥♥♥.
Nocturne’s story telling isnt clear its very abstract but it is very good.
Shame you never finished it, when it comes to overall execution it is great.
Even better when there's rbe between fusion room and save room 😭
I wish they'd remaster that rather than peesona 3 or smt VenPISS
Estoma exists lol. You just run that. The game is only like 40 hours long
I'd consider it again but I'm just not much of a turn based person anymore tbh
