Can you fish in the endgame?

Super lategame question so be aware of mild spoilers.
I'm at the end of the game and I've almost made all the recipes. The only thing I need is a Lord of the Lake to make my final dish. I've got the bait for it, problem is I can't for the life of me figure out how to fish now that I have the airship. I've tried selecting multiple routes but we always seem to fly over everything and as far as I know the only way to fish is when we're on the water.

I'd appreciate any advice but it does just feel like I'm out of luck until NG+ where I can actually use the bait.

Try charting a course for Orbwise Path or Silento. It worked for me on october (after getting airship)

Went back and tried a route to the "Land of Ceremony" and that travels by water. Used my bait and got them. Now I just have to grind out some Gauntlet Shrooms with my remaining 9 days and I'm set. Would've been nice if I had been checking the pantry earlier, had no idea the gauntlet doesn't have to be moving to check it.

I thought that was implied by my post a week ago. I save scummed the gauntlet shrooms. Then I had a couple days where I realised I had neglected the Colosseum that had the last remaining quest and spent the rest of the time on that.
