How bad is the time limit?
I was excited to buy and play this game, but upon reading a bit online I found out it has a sort of time limit. That made me reconsider my desire to play this game, I hate time limits in games.

I hate it when games do this, that is why I only play the Ateliers that have no time limit, same reason I skipped FFXIII Lightning Returns.

So how bad is it? Will it be the type that I play 80 hours and due to my bad time management in game I get a bad ending and need to play 80 hours all over again just to get the good ending?

Try to be more open-minded for time limits. I hated them at first, too, in all games, but if they are implemented in a good way, it skyrockets the immersion. In this game with the calendar system, it really makes you think about what you do next, which is a huge flair of the game. And as others mentioned, the time limits are very, very lenient any way, but still provide some urgency, realism and planning needs. It's awesome.

It's like you have around 10 action points, and 1-3 action points you'll spend to complete dungeon.
Not a real time limit.

Complete a dungeon in ONE go? Unless you have been farming magla pills and can just splurge on that ONE try and/or are playing on Easy or Storyteller, I don't see how this is possible, SP alone is gonna wreck that run.

I´m playing on hard and the two first story dungeons I took 3 and 2 days to do.

Every single side quest dungeon I´ve easily done in 1 day.
Now third story dungeons also seems to be a breeze to in one day with the options I have.
I don´t do any tricks or farming or anything. Just play as efficiently as I can.

Did you use more than one day for some dungeons ?

i one day all the dungeon
i also goof off and done non optimize thing like fishing or done a few content that wont give me anything(doing stats training when i already max out for lore) when i saw that i have still have ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of days, and still have 2 week of free time

thanks, seems I should be able to finish most things with time to spare then at this rate.
I´m totally not doing new game+ just to get a single rank or side quest I´ve missed unless new game+ diff really make the combat shine.

I really like the side activities as just reading books and all that has meaningful dialogue/lore.

You have an easily inheritable passive on the Mage that let's you get MP for beating people up. There's a later skill that let's you regenerate MP per turn, plus a follower skill that returns MP each time you win a battle, not to mention equipment that, you guessed it, regenerates MP per turn. Oh, and of course for some reason stuffing your face with bread while wandering down a corridor ... also regenerates MP.
Which is assuming you need it in the first place. I'm not entirely sure how you end up using all of your MP to begin with; this isn't Persona, the pointy bits of metal your characters are carrying actually do something.

I like to do all the requests + social links beforehand, makes it easier (often trivial) to minimize the number of days you spend in the dungeon. Plus the social links can open up new archetypes that you might want to feed with the XP from the main dungeon. Usually you can do everything you could possibly think of and still have at least half of the days left in the arc to tackle the dungeon.

I'm 22 hours in and so far it doesn't look like I'm missing something/way behind? The thing I most dreaded was having courage 4 to unlock a certain Persona 4 social link
That said, despite playing the original P3 without a guide, I regret playing P3R with a time guide, as it ruined the game for me and made it ultra boring
