How does weather work?
Is it something that's set in stone in a dungeon from the moment you set sail and then you can't do ♥♥♥♥ about it? I just camped for like, 4 days to get this heatwave to go away and it didn't work. And it's not like this is my fault either cause the weather forecast only goes out 2 days, and this dungeon is a 4 day trip.

Are there just locations where the weather never gets better or something? Or does it just lock in the weather conditions the moment you enter a dungeon? I don't wanna have to fight enemies 12 levels ahead of me with no extra attacks just to get this stupid quest done. Farming for MP is already painfully boring, and you can't buy all that many MP items in shops.

the tropical island has a cliament that is well, tropical, i dont think ive ever seen anything besides sunny within the first week, but soon after doing the main dungeon you get to talk to the older brother who can control the weather, so i believe the intent was to use that for the long trip

I think it's like a circle of the moon mechanism, it won't go away until you go back to rest.

I am so glad I made a backup save before leaving for the islands. Thanks!

thats why i always have 2 saves, my "in town" and "travel/dungeon progress" one so that if i ever feel stuck i can go back and prep better

This is so stupid. I hate when games force cookie cutter solutions down your throat.

Or just deal with it like I did. The one spot where you really can't tell is when dealing with the dungeons around Brilehaven since you need to know more than 3 days in advance, but I got lucky.

I had to deal with heat too in probably the same location as the OP despite using climate boy because it was 4 days due to what I did on the way. If it's that tower, it's not that big, and it's doable even on hard mode with no grinding.

Nope. Not sure if it's random or set by the calendar, but the weather at the dungeon when you set off won't necessarily be the same as it is when you arrive (unless you get there in one day of course).

If that's the trial of a certain new party member then no, it won't go away on it's own because, as the chief told you when he gave her the quest, he can make it go away if you talk to him. Anywhere else around the island usually cycles as normal (though if you have that quest active I'm not sure if it fixes the weather at just the destination or the whole region).
