Be careful you don't accidentally load the wrong save! It'll really set you back!

Just found this out. Made a dorky decision and accidentally loaded a save instead of overwriting it. So I went to the autosave to go back to most recent progress and... well, bad news! Loading a game? Immediately overwrites your autosave! Be careful!!

Yeah I had the same mistake and I couldnt find any backup of the autosaves to restore. Honestly I couldnt find the autosave location for that matter, I only see the manual save ones. Maybe there is some hope on that.

thats why you always have manual saves.

sucks it happened to you though, remember, you can press up on your D pad to save, there is no quick key for load, so always do that first/that way to avoid misclicking on load

We save every possible time, but there are big segments in between saves where you have to rely on the autosave. Tbh redoing the segment always takes less time with the knowledge you gained but still. Wish there was 3 or 4 oldautosave files to restore.
