How do you efficiently deal with Faithwright Magiletos?
Later game enemy, side dungeon to avoid further spoilers. They're *only* weak to Strike but go into "Screw you" mode if anyone is in the front row, giving themselves extra turns, getting a summon that heals them to full after the first round of combat even on a stun, getting Repel Physical cast on them by the summon. I'm the same level as they are but there's just no way to do 3,500 damage in a single turn even hitting weaknesses because a weather effect is causing a complete lack of bonus rounds. And the ONLY ARCHETYPE THAT USES STRIKE only has at best a second form unlocked at this time.

Have you tried changing the weather? This might help

If you are entering a dungeon during a storm, may as well make camp and try to clear the dungeon on the next day. Or reload a save to better plan out your route. I learned the hard way to alway check the forecast before setting out to avoid getting screwed by the weather.

Too late for that and the effect *does not go away*. I would have to go to a save over an hour back and *then* skip a dungeon on the way to this dungeon to make it on time to affect the weather.

This is the GOTY. Of course I'm going to take time off to play it :beatmeat: I'm now on my second playthrough on regicide difficulty! I'm in love with the characters, the story, and the game loops!

And its not 200 hours, more like 50-70 with watching the cutscenes, dialog etc

Oh no, I'm like...2/3rds of the way through the main story I reckon? Couldn't be less than halfway at least, this thing I'm fighting is level 51.

I was able to beat it thanks to your info, by standing everyone on the backline instead of healing they only summon one skeleton and only give one repel. This version is so much easier to deal with than the other version that has two summon and soul cry + heal.

As for you, the best way is to get a skill to counter the repel, I would get a general, or commander or getting a seeker they have a skill that remove those repel attacks.

Thanks for this. Even though I read the note from the information broker in the tavern, the "keep your distance, don't get up close" part went right over my head and I kept engaging these enemies with characters in the front row. With all moved to the back, it's a completely different encounter. Cheers!
