As for you, the best way is to get a skill to counter the repel, I would get a general, or commander or getting a seeker they have a skill that remove those repel attacks.
60 hours in reading every dialogue and cutscene i was told dragon temple is midgame so mileage may vary
Thanks for this. Even though I read the note from the information broker in the tavern, the "keep your distance, don't get up close" part went right over my head and I kept engaging these enemies with characters in the front row. With all moved to the back, it's a completely different encounter. Cheers!
