You have better chances just reinstalling the game.
What's crazy is that you think I'm going to spend 500 dollars on a 2 TB M.2 drive.
You could buy a whole PC with a 2tb SSD for 500 wtf
I don't understand what you're trying to say here, but I have other games on my M.2 drive and I'm not interested in uninstalling everything just for this thing everytime I update. I just reinstall like anyone sane would after a patch for this game due to the update person not being smart.
Unsure why Steam update like this now.
Because this game is a very embarissing show in terms of PC optimization. It's not unreemably bad but for a company that has managed to deliver upon some fantastic ports recently (P3 Reload/P5 Royal) this is a bad show.
It's always a little telling from a game file size how competent the developers (responsible for a port) were. 85GB is basically a joke - there's probably a LOT of uncompressed stuff. I remember Diablo 3 being something like 80-100GB back on PS4 because Blizzard had never ported any of their games to console.
If it was Steam's fault, we would have way more unoptimized games.
No, it's 100% on ATLUS - even their own games (P3 Reload f.e.) take way less space.
Wukong which is over 100gb has the same update method.
this game doesn't need to be 90GB, not even 50 GB.
Ys X is only 7 GB ffs. all these modern devs need to learn from Durante
or maybe it's bloated on purpose so this game would monopolize your PC space, so you don't install/play other games before beating it. I know live service games like to do this.
