Devourer of Flames tips ( Hero's rest )

If you dont use the cheap tactic to beat him ( hard difficulty ):
- The key for winning is the paladin class with physical shield and use her synthesis magic party shield ( i didnt taunt )
- it seems he is using his special warcry ( 6 or 8 action ) when low hp and/or if you have too much characters on the rear so stay in front, 1 on the rear seems fine
- I was between level 50 and 60, i used Samurai, Paladin, Prince and Devil summoner ( Berseker or royal berseker better than devil summoner for this fight )
- My main damage was Prince with the coliseum accesory for synthesis damage/more MP cost, I had 1 armor that cancel fire, 1 accesory to prevent charm with dekunda to remove debuff and used all items/food for healing, clean charm effects and used formation of vigor and some Makarakarn

Edit : found out there is a weapon that resist charm with the masked dancer available in shop, maybe Alonzo bond lvl 7 needed

For the Devourer of nations
Cheap tactic is to use the accesory when you dodge ennemy loose all their turn
so without it to make things interesting :
- Thief, Berseker, Prince, Royal knight/Paladin/Dark knight
- Since he debuff every turn, focus on debuff his hit/evasion rate to rank 3
- Equip everything you have to resist slash attack and fire attack
- Use the taunt of the knight with the 15% passive chance to counter physical and magic, If you dont have royal knight, inehrit the passive you dont have
- use the Ninja the dark attack Lurking nightblade that decrease Hit/evasion with the berseker/thief to lower his agility and heal ( items )

Nullify Fire equipment helps a lot. Beat it last night and used Trickster to put up the repel spell on my Main Character who did not have any nullify fire equipment on. I was too dumb to have Masked Dancer make Dragon weak to fire.
