Traditionally in these SMT spin-off games, maxing a Social Link/Bond will allow that character to access a unique-to-them thing during the final stretch of the game; it's best not to worry about it until the end-game.
Not like there is much alternative atm XD
I'd love another proper BioWare RPG or the next entry from Larian / FromSoftware. Alas.
I'm burned out on FromSoftware only making Dark Souls games for about a decade straight; they used to make other stuff, like Shadow Tower and Armored Core!

Ah, you had a minor spelling error. Their sci-fi take on Dark Souls was interesting (the director said he wanted to do a sci-fi DS way back during DS2's development!), but the dodge mechanics, rapidly fluctuating stamina bar, and missions focused on telegraphed bosses means it's ultimately just another Souls entry divided up into episodes.
With all that said, we're getting really off-topic.
