Game doesn't start after 1.09

For some reason 1.09 update had me redownload the whole game and after it finally redownloaded it crashes after one second of seeing black screen + in game arrow.
Anyone encountered this? Any fixes?
Game ran genuinely perfect for +70 hours so why the ♥♥♥♥ is it misbehaving now.

I'm having the same issue. Boot up and it was just black screen with the game arrow. Can't play after this patch.

Great. I’m currently downloading the patch on Steam Deck. Haven’t had an opportunity to play all week. Hopefully it launches fine for me.

Ive experienced the same issue twice. I don't understand it because Persona 5 Royal and Persona 3 reload did not have this issue whenever a new patch is put out. It's very annoying.

Ironically after verifying file integrity and game reinstalling/re-updating itself once again, it fixed itself, but the whole process took nearly three hours, especially the whole redownloading part, quite a nuissance, all good now though. I guess those having troubles with 1.09 could give file integrity check a go.
