Unfortunately you need the FULL game size left to update the game. since it unpacks/packs everything AGAIN. so I needed 80 or so gigs free. to dl the patch.

This is unfortunately a problem with some modern games, Baldur's Gate 3 being another notable one. Try to free up 82 GB or more free space- delete a small game of program to free a further 8-10 GB in your case. If that's not possible, do what BG3 devs suggest- uninstall the game and redownload it.

Yeah this ♥♥♥♥ is unacceptable. You can't uninstall the game because it's always "busy" and you WILL have to force shutdown your Deck as it will not shut down properly. Going into offline mode and uninstalling seems to be the only fix.

Thanks for clogging up my Halloween, Atlus. Fix your broken achievements and nonsense patches and maybe you'll get my money again.

After the 1st update I always uninstall this game and install again
I don't need this update, is there any way to just play the game without updating it?

The best way is uninstall it and re-install the whole thing if you don't have space.

Steam upgrade mechanism is ♥♥♥♥♥ doe.
2nd time they break the game
i waited 2 hours at 0 %, was wondering if anything actually happens or not so i closed steam, upon re-opening steam its 50% ready, life of non-SSD-harddrive gamer :D
I find out a better way.

Go to Steam apps/common, copy or cut the entire Metaphor folder to another drive/folder.

Uninstall Metaphor via Steam.

Copy the Metaphor folder back to Steam apps/common, NOW try to install it, Steam will automatically re-verify files that are existing in the common folder and make the installation much faster (instead of downloading the whole thing again).

Assbackwards yes, but Steam is Steam.
Same problem here. I uninstalled it and will install back at some point later, when the game will be more stable without so many patches. If every patch will need this, it would be a hassle to play this game in this state, having to uninstall/install it again at every small patch.

For me it was a first time this happening with a small update.
