Where is Basilio? (Rank 8 request, a brother's mercy)

I've looked everywhere for him. In every town. He's just vanished.

Have you tried to wait full day before you tried to do this quest? You can't do quest same day you got 7th rank. Do you have eloquence at rank 5?

Yes I do, and it's been a few days since. I can't find him anywhere I look.

What is the current day in your game? I've finished his bond at around first week of october.

I finally found him. For whatever reason it took like a week. He was standing around the stairs near the gallows in Grand Trad.

Does anyone have any more info on this? it's 10/7 for me and the quest location in the journal just shows a bunch of question marks. During the day, Basilio seems to just be completely missing.

Alright, it actually jsut suddenly appeared on 10/10

Weird that it took so long.

He basically locked me out of getting all of the followers maxed. I got him to rank 7 the last week of the game and he decides to just not be available on any day of the week. It's honestly infuriating that I have to replay the whole game to get all of the royal archetypes.

Isn't the weather just always set to "dread"? It was 10/7 when I wrote my first post but I unlocked the quest closer to like 10/5. OP also said it was about a week for him so maybe it's just time gated? Was anyone able to do it immediately?

Hey guys, dont know if they patched it but I got him to appear the day after next day of accepting the quest.

I talked to him during a 1 day travel in the gauntlet, after waking up the next day he was in town. Instead of waiting a week.

^^ it seems to start the mission earlier you need to speak with Basilio on the runner and he will be available the next day. This allowed me to get all the royal archetypes. Thank you Soup Nazi

Confirmed it worked, went travelling in the gauntlet, talked to him & spent time with him. Teleported to town, did something else, next day, he's there in the allyway rightside of More's phantom. Much appreciated!

Unfortunately this didnt work for me at all. I had 5 in game days till end game, and had already waited for him to show up 5 more before this post. I did a day trip, even did the dungeon for some extra grinding for archetypes before going to final dungeon.

Bas still never showed at the stairsteps, or anywhere else in town. When found him outside in any other town like on virga in the bar, he would just tell me its time to go fight and direct me to the gauntlet for me to fly to the final dungeon.
