In some dungeons there are enemies that will consistently drop Magla Pills, enemies that look like worms or butterflies will usually drop MP restoring items. You can just farm these over and over in overworld combat with the Merchant archetype (or just inherit Lucky Find) to build your reserves.
As yoship pointed out you can also grind with a Mage archetype to restore MP, but it's a really painful process. It can be useful if you're desperate for MP in the early game.
Dungeon enemies respawn slowly as you play, or fully each time you re-enter or go to Akademeia, so you don't need to end the day to grind.
Later on you can also cook MP restoring items.
-you can cook in the gauntlet runner. Later in the game cooking uses no time and yields double item (Maria rank 6 or higher iirc). There is a meal you can cook that restores 100 mp to the entire team and removes hex, but you have to stock the ingredients before travelling.
-You can teach a charachter (Heismay already has it) MP Thief to steal MP from enemies and then learn the Gift MP skill from the Trickster archetype, which distributes 50 MP to other characters. Steal MP -> distribute, rinse and repeat. It's tedious and takes a very long time.
-Pro tip: Look for skills that use HP instead of MP. These are few, but worth it.
-heal the team with items, not with skills. Healing items are cheap, no reason to be stingy
-Pro tip2: Use the merchant/tycoon archetype, as he uses money instead of MP
-passives or equipment that restores mp are rare and give you like 5mp or a little more per round, when a skill costs 10-20 on average. I'd rather equip magic or strength boost gear and passives so it won't take as many attacks to kill them, thus saving MP in return
Equip a Thief-lineage Archetype and go into a Dungeon with the red crystals (make sure the enemies drop the Magla Pill/restore item you want) that infinitely spawn enemies. Equip all archetypes on your team with "Lucky Find" from the Merchant.
Go wild. You can easily get 99 (max) of these with minimal effort. You can do this with any enemy that respawns and that you can kill without forcing squad battle. You can also equip Mastered Archetypes on all characters to get infinite Leafs of Light by doing this, as it takes 1,000 A-EXP to get a Leaf.
Prince has an ability where every time your allies attack an enemy (meaning 1 hit) you and all allies get 1 MP back in overworld combat. You can abuse this to get infinite MP back off any enemy that you do not out level, and is particularly effective when allies are using Archetypes with weapons that hit multiple times, such as Masked Dancer or Faker lineages.
Knight lineage has MP recovery passive skills for Squad Battles
Masked Dancer has MP recovery passive skills for Squad Battles
There are options, you just have to work hard to get them.
Besides its totally cute how junah keeps saying 'otakido' so i dont mind doing it too much.
Your reading comprehension sucks ass. I already mentioned those things and said that what you get is minuscule and barely worth it. Take a reading class or something.
So play more conservatively with your MP. Target enemy weakpoints or create weakpoints with Masked Dancer or Synthesis skills. If you're blowing 100 MP across all characters on every fight, you're doing something wrong. This is in part a strategy game - strategize.
I'm able to clear most dungeons in a single in-game day using regen methods and grinding so I outlevel trash mobs and get MP back with every enemy killed in overworld combat. If I, and others, can do it, so can you.
