[Major Spoiler] So...about the Nidia Tribe...

So, I got to that point in the Junah questline where she revealed her true form and... wow is that cute as hell.

But that begs the question, if all Nidia's true form is childlike chibi looking beings...why are there regular looking Nidia children?

Do they at some point turn into the cute little forms and are forced to later use a glamour to age themselves up?

I also wish we got to see Alonzo's chibi form.

I think that Junah mentioned that during her story. Children are teached how to change their form at the very young age. And this form is very private and shown only inside the family. So even close friends of Nidia may not know how their friends really look like.

Though it was a smart decision to make the character who thing is that they are great at lying and deception be the tribe who disguises their real form.
It does make sense why we don't see it though because it would either be confusing or spoil some of Junah's story to some.

Juani tells us that when they are young (I assume a certain age) They are taught how to use Glamour and use it when they grow up to be taken serious. So that checks out. Why would a kid use Glamour if they are a kid?

Junah's words: "We look like small children to you, but we look that way our whole lives... That's a nidia's truth, and it's why we start transforming as soon as we're old enough. Our parents are the only ones who know what we really look like." I don't think its ever clarified how old "old enough" is, but if only the parents know their true form, it is probably only a few years old, so they use age-appropriate glamours, whether by choice or not (she also mentions they can't freely change their look, it has to be 'them but grown up').
