Use the restroom on the gauntlet runner on every Idlesday to gain a free point of luck.

I did rise it to 99 and its not worth it. Its easily the worst stat in the game. If you maxed out luck you don't even crit that often. You get items very fast and if you equip the archtype merchent, then you get more money and exp. But you still get to little exp and money even if you 99 it

do you know if it affects Faker's skills at all? For example, that one skill that randomly adds or removes turn actions (Faker's Roguery?), I would assume that a high luck stat would make positive results happen more frequently.

We're not going to know that until data diggers crack into the code or do very extensive statistical testing.

From my experience, LUCK at max level does appreciably boost crit rates for skills that can crit; this combos with the "all Merchant, all Almighty" meta since those gold physical attack skills already have a boosted base crit chance so you'll always be doing boosted damage and taking only half a press turn.

Imagine this, you win the lottery, OMG, what an amazing luck!
Are you gonna raise luck, or not?

Not to say it's a good idea but I exclusively raised luck on level ups and got through the game just fine because I'm a sucker for luck stats in games. You never have to worry about money because the merchant passive seems to give you your luck stat x10 in money for overworld kills or stuns. I bought all the most expensive stuff in the game as soon as I got to any new shops lmao.
One dungeon in particular you can make 30k in about 30 seconds because there's a big pack of enemies near a checkpoint and you get 1k gold per enemy at 99 luck.
