Early Game Necromancer Story Quest timer - Should i rush this?

So i want to maximize my time accordingly, and i don't know if doing a story quest will advance the time in the game.

Should i hold off on the story quest and level up my virtues?

Or does it not matter what order i do it in, rush the story quest and the game wont time skip on me...?

Nah you can do whichever.. if you complete the main story quest, you get to keep the extra days to do whatever you want until the deadline hits.

yeah it doesn't matter... if you complete the quest early the rest of the "deadline" becomes free time which you can spend on the royal virtues or forging social links.

Do mind the dealine though... the game won't take pitty on you if the dealine expires whilst in transit from a sidequest (as it usually takes a couple of days to travel back from a side dungeon)
