It's possible that they were planning to release it on ps3, like persona 5 - that would explain low res textures.
Long story short, they needed 8 years to make "not persona", which plays like persona, is worse than persona and half as long as persona.
It relies on shock value to engage players: random beatings, hangings, murders out of nowhere. It’s lazy and uncreative. Villains feel like they were written by a kid.
Everybody is bad and racist in this game or is a victim of bad racists lol
Anime cutscenes barely hit 5 fps, music and art are only good parts.
Its just a low effort sbi persona rip-off.
Not worth it imo but it's there if you want it.
Chances are textures just weren't high on the priority list.
I find this to be easily better than the Persona games I've played (P5R, P4G, P3R). To me it feels like they took what worked from the persona games, and then also fixed or removed things that didn't, and then also added in new stuff to make it feel less like a time management simulator.
