About re-release, sure i know many Atlus fans know how Atlus do with their own games in the future, but this one will be different because Metaphor Re:fantazio will be release in multiple platform. For instance Persona 5 was originally PS3 and PS4 games then they re-release it to PS4 as Royal after that they decide to port Royal to more modern platform since 2022 (Persona 4 Golden first actually since 2020 on Steam), then SMT V was originally Switch exclusive then they re-release it as Vengeance for more modern platform. See the pattern here?
This is just my opinion, i think they will follow Persona 3 Reload's Path, "Expansion Pass", see how ridicolous they don't include any pay walled DLC story for this one? Soul Hackers 2 had one DLC story called "Lost Number", so they could do Expansion Pass this time around.
Believe it or leave it, your choice, it's your money anyway.
That argument does not take into account people who cant afford the time to re-play the entire game to access the expansion
