Look at the latest gameplay showcase in Gamescom 2024.
The LOADING screen time is very long(Compare to PS4 Persona5), they need to fixed this or it is going to be very annoying in 40-80 hours campaign.

Came here to state the same exact thing.

At this point I get the feeling that most die-hard ATLUS fans live in denial. It will take 1-2 years and the game will come out bundled with all (necessary) balance changes/overpriced DLCs they have released until then and extra content and the original game will be a complete waste of space on your harddrive.

At this point I get the feeling that most die-hard ATLUS fans live in denial. Even better, It will come out with Royal edition that overhaul half mechanic and force you to buy new whole game instead of DLC!!! ATLUS will milk fans dried.

When I was younger and my income was more dispensable, sure. I might've been one of ya'll to pre-order this. I've legitimately thrown money away at video games... Like I do own 3 copies of Persona 5 (2 I paid for, 1 is PSN+ gifted)... but was that really a wise investment?

I'm sure this game will be a lot of fun, and there really are a lot of die hard fans to make this game successful. Buuuut, it's not really my responsibility to make sure a company succeeds. That's up to them.

It's my responsibility to be at least a little bit fiscally savvy... Unless this game's the 2nd coming of Jesus... then I'm jumping in rabidly. Gotta wait for the reviews from the individuals I trust first though.

Let's be honest, I'm not even going to play all of the games in my backlog as it is... And I'm sure this single player experience will be waiting for me when I'm ready (still working through eiyuden chronicles: 100 heroes), and there'll probably be a shiny sale.

I won't judge you if you have the money and the time to play it on day 1, or for preordering. I used to do that ♥♥♥♥... but I'd like to think I'm growing?

Doesn't really bother me.
The amount you will earn, and spend, and save, and invest, and lose in the ~36 months between this and whatever version may (or may not) be re-released is negligible, and won't even be missed in the grand scheme of things.

Firsthand experiencing pivotal moments and story beats day-of without being spoiled by them online in the following years is more valuable to me.
All just comes down to your priorities I suppose.
