Game crashes at startup

Hi,

I bought this game during the holidays sale and I can't even play it. As soon as it launches, it crashes and a windows troubleshooting windows pops up saying ''game.exe stopped working''.

Help.

Found a fix for this:

Go to the directory of the game and find a file called 'Autoexec.cfg'. In that file, find the line 'var widescreen 1' and change it to 'var widescreen 0'. Additionally, for the changes to take effect you have to open the save game directory located at C:\Users\[YourUserName]\Documents\Glacier3 and delete the file 'Config.cfg' (if it exists).

You can also edit other settings like resolution and fullscreen or windowed mode in 'Autoexec.cfg', however you will have to delete 'Config.cfg' every time for the changes to take effect.

it says i need a program to open the file which file program do i need to use???

@Your Landlord It is a plain text file so any text editor like notepad or notepad++ will work to open and edit it.
