Rise of a Legend

Gladiator classes, their strength and weakness
Wanted to make a guide but i lacked distribution rigths or something.

Small quide on the type of gladiators and what they can do.

Velite class
A ligthly armoured gladiator armed with a spear and 3 javelins.
You are to use your mobility to stay out of range of your enemies, use your javelins to hopefully weaken up the enemy up first and then strike and retreat untill the job is done, best class to take on the rhino. You also have a the best kick attack.

Murmillo
Best protected gladiator than can use the shield offensivly, you have less attack than other classes but the best defence, use precision strikes and your shield to take out your opponents.

Thraex
Better offense than the Murmillo but less defence.
Your powerful strikes will do alot of damage but your also exposed, you can wait and let the enemy attack you and then counterstrike repeataly, untill victory.

Diachemacus
A gladiator with 2 swords, great offensive capability but almost no defence.
Attack quickly and pray that your enemy dont manage to block you, a single mistake can cost you your life.
You can kill opponents quickly and your multiple attack can damage several opponents at the same time, just dont let the enemy get to close to you.

That's exactly how it is :brotherfist: I'm glad you're sharing your experiences. It will help some newbies especially if you have little money and want to build up a gladiator :lionhelmet: I could add a few more things after 150 hours but I'll leave it all up to you ;-)

Well said Andrelemgard and the fight styles will only get better in time! Looking forward to really opening up each of their combat kits.
