This museum has started work on bringing back game servers for Boston Lockdown - and while Microsoft (current rights-holders) first declared they would agree to allow such preservation of the game, one and a half years later no actual agreement has materialized yet - despite repeated efforts.
If something works Microsoft will break it, as we can see with each windows update.
