Help, doesn't work...

I just bough the game and when I clicked play it said "Installing DirectX", as far as I'm concerned this is normal. I left my office to gt a coffee, then I came back in and only te steam window was open, I thought this was strange because I clicked "Play" and I was pretty sure it's supposed to open after you click play and it finishes it's DirectX installation. I clicked "Play" again and nothing happend. So then I just opened "D:\SteamLibrary\Airport Simulator 2014\airport2013.exe" and a window popped up indicating that "PhysXLoader.dll" is missing, so I opened one of my other games that use PhysX and copied the file, now when I try to start it with steam or directly the UIG logo directly comes up and it closes. Any help is much appricated.

if you go in the folder of the game (where they are the .exe, in the folder "_Commondredist", they have a folder for the "directX", and other for the "PhysiX", perharp you can try to install this physiX and view if it's work...

I reinstalled PhysX and it got to the second logo when starting the first time but then it went back to what it was doing before, only gettig to the UIG logo, next I'll try to reninstall DirectX...

i just finished downloading the game and when i clicked play the game would not start

Thats how my problem started, but I got it to display the first 2 logos, then it just closes, to reproduce my problem (This will only work for lemiresammy) copy the file PhysXLoader.dll into the folder where the game installed. If you don't know where that is, it's probably "C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Airport Simulator 2014\" I'll upload PhysXLoader.dll on my DropBox account later.

Restart your pc after installation of all that stuff, that did the trick for me

Hi guys, good tips on here.

Got it started now but im still stuck at getting to the first, sometimes 2nd logo. Am i missing a step? Rebooted PC after installation but still getting no further.

That was my problem after I copied PhysX, anyways, have you tried going to the games install folder and starting it directly. If you havent, the folder is probably C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Airport Simulator 2014\ and start airport2014.exe, if any error boxes appear, tell me and I'll try to help. Maybe reinstall PhysX by goinng to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Airport Simulator 2014\_CommonRedist\PhysX\9.12.1031\ and running the installer twice, once to uninstall and once to reinstall.

Yea tried all the above, no go. Starts to load after the UIG screen then crashes. No errors. No logs I can see.

Sorry, I'm out of ideas...Maybe you could reinstall DirectX. It's installer is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Airport Simulator 2014\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010\.
It's somewhere among all of the .cab files.

Yeah seriously don't make any effort trying to get this to work you will be really disappointed you wasted any time on it
