Models are low poly and not very well made, for example batman's arms clip thru his cape.
Sluggish mechanics that makes combat slow and unresponsible.
Too many functions assigned to one key - don't try to start to run near elevators.
Ridiculous amount of backtracking. Majority of game is running aroud places you've already been to. Places are empty as enemies do not respawn. You will do that even more after accqiring equipment updates required to reach collectible from a room you've been 10 times to already.
Way too many collectibles. Developers tried hard to extend gameplay time.
Plain stupid in most cases detective mode: You have to scan every thing you can interact with, even if purpose of interaction is obvious.
Bugs. During my chase after catwoman (very begining of the game) I managed to get stuck inside a wall. Also encountered infamous lighthouse bug where you have to reload game to be able to progress.
No manual saves, only checkpoints. Enjoy watching unnecessary unskipable cutscenes over and over.
Overall it's rushed cellphone port that doesn't offer any fun gameplay or interesting story.
Well it sounds like you just hate handheld games.
1999?? Activision was developing games with more depth than this piece of crap in 1999
Um... not my opinion but okay.
I just hate badly designed games and lazy ports, like Batman™: Arkham Origins Blackgate - Deluxe Edition.
If something was good on handled it doesn't mean it will be good on PC, where quality standards are different. Developers should be aware of that and work more if they want to release their products on more advanced platforms.
So you just don't like pc ports then.
I totally agree with you, this game is piece of crap.
Oh and this is a port from the nintendo 3DS.
As you could probably tell, those two dont mix together.
ESC key to skip cutscenes. Hit it shortly after the beginning of the cutscene.
