You do know the devs don't model and texture nude skins under the armor right?

At a basic level and depending on the game you have to swap the underwear texture with a nude texture that someone needs to create. To do a better job you may also need to swap the actually model.

It's not just...change a line of code.

Sometimes they do, make a nude model. Whether it has any nude details though is another thing as well. It really all just depends.

why would you even want one? While the character creator is amazing for faces, the actual bodies are the most bland rectangles I've ever seen. I honestly can't wait to cover up with armor.

Nude mods can be a jumping off point for sexy armor mods.

they cant do stuff like this because of the ratings, everyone remembers hot coffee gta san andreas, and the huge uproar it caused, they just cant leave nude models/textures or adult content in commercial games (yes im aware it was a mod but all the mod did was restore content already in the game)

How am I saving face by pointing out what I actually stated? You were the one that inferred more than what was actually written there, I didnt imply it, nor did what I wrote leave any room to assume otherwise.. and a lot of the 1st Nude mods for games are them literally just removing the 1 line of code that makes Underwear appear, and later come the ones with actual textural changes in my experience.


Maybe not in this game, but some games do create more detail under there than you'd expect..

What does you being in a video game college have anything to do with it? different developers have a different approach to things. It's not universal.

with mod they may give better bodies

so this game has big potential for modding, maybe bigger than skyrim

you seem a bit confused. I actively work with this stuff... for the Models everything basic is actually there, yes Aereolas and fine details like pubes and finer Vulva details/ actual peni are not actually there if you just remove the underwear, but the definitions and basic shapes of Ass/boobs/vulva are, In fact, there if you just remove the Underwear. and the texturing of everything else is fairly rudimentary.

Yes, its obviously more than 1 line of code if you want the actual Aereolas and other fine tuned visuals. But removing the Underwear is 1 line of code, as I literally stated..

They actually did in Horizon: Forbidden west, if you positioned Aloy just right her chest could clip to the camera and she had fully modeled and textured and colored booba. I imagine when that came out, at least one texture artist had an uncomfortable one sided conversation with his supervisor.

I think that for cyberpunk that is actually how it works, but it was very intentional in that game.
