What is the Moniker for?

Is this something to do with voice? Like you, or NPCs will refer to the Pawn as this? If so, that sucks. I don't want my Pawn referred to something else, other than their name.

It's for the people who turn on censorship. It'll show their moniker rather than their given name.

Does it even require filtering to be on? Sadly we all know gamers cant be trusted to not be crude at every opportunity…all in the name of being “””funny”””. Even though its really only funny to 13 year olds.

Sadly yes and also helps if you dont want 2 pawns having the same long name as I have in your screen. XD

i remember this mechanic from the first game
i ended up feeling compelled to name my pawn and arisen the same thing as their moniker to avoid identity crisis.
i consider it a bad mechanic, but it seems tied to consoles so nothing new there. is crossplay on? if not id say rip it out of the pc version

Ahhh, I was wondering about this. Thanks for clarifying. I thought this was how it worked, but then I got confused because my Arisen *also* had a moniker. I'm guessing this is for when you're in the rift, and it tells you who's pawn you're bringing with you.
